Air rifles
Air rifles or airguns fire projectiles pneumatically through the combustible gases of compressed air or other gases, and unlike a firearm, do not involve any chemical reactions.

There is a wide range of uses for air rifles, from a small game of hunting for pest control to recreational shooting, commonly known as plinking, and even competitive sports like the Olympic 10m Air Rifle and 10m Air Pistol events. Rimfire rifles
Rimfire rifles fire rimfire ammunition, the name of which comes from the firing pin's contact with the base, which ignites the primer. The primer is inserted into the trough cavity inside the rim from the interior.

Pistols
Pistols are a type of small handgun that are popular for sports shooting and target practice. They have a chamber that is loaded with bullets and after each pull of the trigger, the empty casing is ejected before the chamber is rotated in preparation for the next shot.
