Our Deluxe Map Compass is made with an extremely accurate, orienteering design. It uses a liquid-filled luminous dial with a magnifier and linear and roamer scales. Comes with a built-in survival necessary sighting mirror under the lid, as well as a lanyard to keep it easily accessible wherever you go.
How To Use The Compass:
- Place the compass on the map with an edge along the desired line of travel.
- Rotate the capsule until the ‚à´N' on the compass dial points to magnetic north on the map.
- Hold the compass horizontally in front of you and turn your body until the red end of the needle points to North on the compass dial.
- Hold the compass as shown so you can see the compass housing in the mirror at the same time as a sighting can be made through the v-sight.
